 Computer Memory is the main part of the computer.it consists of cache memory and primary memory. memory can store instructions, data, and intermediate results.

 There are two types of memory

1 Primary Memory

2 Secondary Memory

Primary Memory is the main memory of the computer which is attached directly to the motherboard. so, it is fast in computer operation.it is more expensive than secondary memory. There  are two types of primary memory and they are :

a) Random Access Memory(RAM)

b)Read-Only Memory(ROM) 

a) Random Access Memory(RAM)

RAM stands for Random Access Memory. When we boot the computer, it starts to load system files of the operating system into the RAM. It is called volatile and temporary memory because its data is lost when the computer is turned off.
